Fountains of light and sound

@

It’s one of Las Vegas’ most spectacular sights and best of all, it’s free for everyone to enjoy. The Fountains of Bellagio is an amazing, choreographed water show with performances set to light and music. The shows take place in a lake in front of the Bellagio hotel on the Las Vegas strip, with a show every 30 minutes in the afternoons and early evenings, and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight. Before a water show starts, the nozzles break the water surface, so you know that the spectacular event is about to begin. If you are in the city in bad weather, be warned that shows may be cancelled without warning because of wind, although this is a rare occurrence. The fountain display is choreographed to various pieces of music. Pieces used in the show include ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion, ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ by Frank Sinatra, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ by Gene Kelly and ‘This Kiss’ by Faith Hill. The fountain waters swirl and glide as onlookers gasp in amazement. It’s definitely one of the must-see sights of Las Vegas, especially by night.
